    Tuesday, January 19, 2010 9:29 PM
Thanks to all of you who wished me happy birthday!!! There were too many of you to list out here, but I really appreciate it =D

I spent my birthday with dinner at Seoul Garden with Kageshi, Luna, Karei, Aya, Frank, Wei Lee, Daniel and Windy. The girls kept feeding me with beef until my stomach was bloated! Then we had shabu-shabu on ginseng chicken soup. Coupled with eggs, they were seriously awesome. Thanks for the treat, Kage!

Today I went out with Icee. Haven't been hanging out with her for a while. She gave me a treat at Burger King, then we were walking around Orchard Road. She kept snapping pictures like a tourist, lol! Thanks for hanging out on my 21st!!! ^_^

    Sunday, January 10, 2010 1:20 AM
Back from 2nd day of filming. I cosplayed Harima Kenji from School Rumble for today's shoot. My 3-year old costume and wig are still in good condition, haha.

Met up with Karei, Frank and Hirito along with new additions, Aya and Kageshi. Awesome bunch of peeps. We talked crap after the whole shoot, about the shoot itself and other random stuffs. Ate dinner in Saizeria, but I only ate the soup and foccacia because it's not halal, dots. Then Frank and Aya left and the rest of us went to drink downstairs Okinawa restaurant. I had apple juice while the rest got alcohol stuffs, all chiong only. Kageshi was upset that there was only Tiger, lol. The octopus with wasabi was nice though =D

And my sister finally got me my copy of Street Fighter IV for PC!!! Thanks a lot!!! ^_^

I enjoyed my 1st day of filming at Anglo-Chinese School. Met up with a few of the cosplayers such as Frank and Karei there. Tomorrow we'll be having another set of shoots, this time in our cosplay costumes. Looking forward to it, haha. I should be sleeping now though; the time for the next meeting is 10am, dots.

Anyways, sometimes I'd get frustrated when people tell me things about other people, and I cannot seem to forget about it and move on. It's hard for me to ignore things when people talk about someone that's close to me.

I personally also want to kick my bad habits. I sometimes have personal issues about myself, probably because I think too much about stuffs. Even though people say I'm a nice person, I still don't believe so. I really want to take some time off, meditate a bit, and come back as a better person. I want to change to a better lifestyle. I'd want to make some drastic changes, but...

I might need some guidance too.

It's time for a change. Where 1 solution can solve all problems.

    Thursday, January 7, 2010 7:43 PM
I'm basically rotting ard NP right now. Nothing much to do, so might as well recap about the past few days.

Last sunday, I went to a relative's wedding reception. I happened to meet my REAL dad (my dad now is actually my stepdad), and he talked to me for a little bit. I met my distant little brother and sister as well. They haven't changed much, I supppose.

There was a lucky draw going on, I managed to get this:

I broke my favourite mug the other day, so this was probably a blessing in disguise: A glass mug. =.=||

And my lucky sister managed to get this!

(This was a mini rice cooker, btw. LOL)

Hmm, then last Tuesday I met up with Icee, Ginette and Freedom for some props making. Icee gave me a nice plushie, because I'm born in the year of the dragon. Thankiessss~ =D

Other than that, nothing much interesting happened. But lately I can't seem to rest much. People have been telling me things, people don't appreciate the things that others do... and whatnot.

    ...

My laptop crashed again. WTF. D=

While waiting for my newly-bought camcorder to fully charge, I might as well blog about today~

I had lunch with my parents at Hougang. I want to thank my parents for buying my new camcorder also. I'll make sure I keep it safe with me~

I almost planned to go home, but I ended up taking the MRT to meet up with Icee, lol. We walked around Far East Plaza and then hanged around from Orchard to Dhoby Ghaut. Hanging out wiht her is awesome, because she has the same kind of mentality as me. I'm getting older now, so I really understand how she feels as an old teenager/young adult. That's why we can chill and talk cock easily without any stress. FTW.

On a side note, today's my 1st time trying Pokka apple tea and the blue Red Bull can. Lols.

And I'm seriously excited for this coming SOY, man. I'm looking forward to helping out with EPIC cosplays~ >D

Damn, I really have nothing much to do at home. I feel like dropping by my neighbourhood mall and spam credits at the arcade. Then again, I should control my spending, lol.

3 more days to the new year, huh. So far, I've pretty much settled down with my life. My family situation is pretty much back to normal, I can survive on my own money until NS arrives, and my girlfriend... happier and cuter than usual. XDDD

I hope you guys reading this blog will have a happier time ahead as well. Those of you looking for a soulmate especially; I'll be rooting you guys on! Don't give up until the last stretch. Good things happen to those who wait =D

Wah, I really have some bad luck this week. Last week, my grandma got her arm dislocated. Now this morning, my dad got warded to the hospital. I can't imagine what's gonna happen in the next few days...

I feel extremely bored. But I can't get out of home because I have to tend to my grandma.

It's raining outside my house. Good time to sleep, but I feel a bit restless lately. I'm still taking care of my grandma who's probably staying over at my house for about 2 weeks. She's been recovering quite well, but I'll still look after her just in case.

I've been blogging a lot more often lately, I realised. I do have a lot to say. I keep those thoughts in my head, but sometimes I just want to say it out, so blogging is always the best choice to do so.

Hmm, I find kids nowadays are really spoiled. They don't appreciate the things they have, and tend to go overboard with it. Let's take money for instance. If I were rich, I'd save most of it for neccessary expenses, and the rest on my hobbies. But I do notice some people tend to get really carried away, flaunting their wealth and all. It becomes a problem when if happens often, and more likely than not you'll get alienated by other people.

I'll tend to speak my mind off about these kind of things. I'm not too direct to say it in front of people's faces, but it kind of bothers me. I may be open-minded, but not as much open-mouthed or direct.

Speaking of which, I might not see any of you guys until next year. I'll probably spend the new year's at home or somewhere. I somehow feel the need to reorganise my thoughts and change myself for the better.

I organised a mini-outing/dinner with Windy and Diyanah today. She had her own bad situation going on, so I asked her out as well. Windy just arrived from his photoshoot. So we sat down at MOF, and talked cock like nobody's business. We were crapping about people, talking about cosplay, and other random stuffs too. I haven't had an enjoyable dinner in a while, although we were being cheapskates with the stuffs that we all ate, lol. We updated ourselves with what's been going on lately, and pretty much laughed and bitched about... just about everything.

These are the kind of people I'd like to have as friends, really. Enjoying ourselves as life goes on.

    12:14//Home: Listen.
    Monday, December 14, 2009 10:58 AM
Alright guys, listen up. This post is going to be either depressing, or really infuriating, whichever way you want to see it. If you're feeling happy right now, please turn away in case this spoils your mood.

    Anyways...

This whole past weekend is really a bad one for most of my close friends. It's like, nothing went right at all. I'm quite pissed with a certain few people too, and I wish I could forget about it and move on.

It's really annoying when someone keeps going up to you and tells you everything that a girl does to him, especially if it's one that he has a crush on. You keep saying, "She wants to take a photo with me," "She talked to me about so-and-so," and all that other stuff. I'm like, "Could you like keep those thoughts to yourself!?" I mean, yes you're happy and all, but is that really the only thing you can talk about? At this rate, you're already being too obsessive of your crush, whether you think alike or otherwise. FUCK THAT, get a grip of yourself already.

And I don't really like it when you guys are telling me to do this and that, because I KNOW CLEARLY WELL WHAT EXACTLY I'M DOING. This thing needs serious clarification. I do have a really nice girlfriend, but it doesn't mean I should be attending to her 24/7. She has her own clique of friends to talk to, and I have mine as well. Won't you find it stupid to cling on to your loved one all the time? It's like you only made friends with one person in your entire teenage life... Not a good thing either.

I also talked about some people about a certain topic: politics in cosplay. I think Singapore cosplay is really going down the drain. Not because of the qualities of the cosplays in here, just the ethics. Every week it's like... there's some backstabbing, bitching, flaming or something bad happening, whether it's on SGCafe or outside in the real world. Why can't we all get along together? I know there will always be a clash of personalities and all, but at least we should try to get along and support each other, not start a fight with each other. Look at the cosplayers in America for example. They may look ugly and fat when they cosplay, but they get whole-hearted support from the audience when they get on stage. That is the kind of community Singapore cosplay needs. Now I just don't see it anymore. It wasn't what it used to be...

But at the same time, we shouldn't take cosplay too seriously. It's just a hobby for us to have fun. I've met a LOT of good friends through cosplay, and we still do share our experiences outside of cosplay as well. It's like having a close bond. That's what hobbies do to people with similar passions. We all can't cosplay forever, there's always other commitments outside of it. We'll get bored of our current hobbies and move on to another. It's inevitable.

I hope you guys understand where I'm coming from, because I'm already worn out from hearing too many things from people. I myself had my own bad weekend, and I'm more or less stuck at home as I'm going to take care of my grandma who had dislocated her arm. I love her a lot, and it's not much, so this is as much as I can do for her...

And this last part is meant to a certain person. If you're really feeling down and need someone to talk to, I'm always around. I may not be able to help much or anything, but the least I could do is listen and comfort you. It's nothing much, really. I hope you'll cheer up soon.

First things first. I want to apologise to you guys who went to the outing I organised. Part of it was because I wasn't really in my normal mood, maybe thinking too much. But thanks a lot for being able to make it and really chilled out and talked cock. It made my mood a little better now.

I walked back with Windy and talked about a lot of crap too. Been a while since I talked for so long with somebody in person. I realised I haven't caught up with the cosplay news lately, a lot of stuff sure has happened during the days after AFA.

Tomorrow I have to go to some school for an acting audition. I hope it's not anything difficult, and I can get a portfolio material for myself too, even though it's not a paid job. At least I get free transport and food, hehe.

And I freaking want to go to Sitex!!! Where's my Sony Handycam!??? D<

I can't tell how tired I am today, after 2 days of filming and post-production. The effort was really worth losing some sleep though. But back to the main topic: I want to rant a little.

The past few days, I keep thinking to myself that I feel alright, but deep down I know something's bothering me. I don't really know what it is though, but I try to figure out what has happened so far.

I feel really mentally worn out, as in... REALLY. I can still talk cock and joke around, but not as much as before. Quite a few people told me about their personal problems too. Okay, I'm fine with that because I can afford to offer help, but at least listen and try to follow it, not go against it! You should know who you are; you have to change yourself, or society's gonna bite you the hard way. I'm not kidding, life's tough, deal with it.

And sometimes I worry about others too much that I totally neglect my own problems. Not that I have any per se, but sometimes I want to just chill and have a peace of mind too. I'd wish somebody would calm me down for a bit, even if it's just for a little while.

I personally never indulge my own problems to anybody; it's just hard for me to do so. I find that I can handle my own things, but I sometimes do it the wrong way. Worst part is, I am aware of what I'm doing. Not really a good thing, huh. But thankfully everything's back to normal for me.

Nothing much has changed. Just more angry, emo, or sad teenagers around. Not that I'm pissed that any of you always come to me to say out you problems; I'm actually okay with that! But when I'm really tired, it's hard for me to even worry about my own self.

Seriously speaking, JUST LIVE YOUR LIFE THE WAY YOU WANT IT, LIFE'S SHORT ANYWAYS.

    Sometimes I wonder...

I do things for others, and I don't expect much or anything in return. By right, I'm not a saint at all, yet people think I'm a nice guy. I can't seem to understand myself at all. Why I do want people to feel happy? And not make myself happy? Weird right.

I don't really care about myself sometimes, to the point where I might do anything stupid(?) just to see someone else smile. It's crazy, but strangely enough I have no complains with it.

I don't even know what I really want. Do I want to aim higher? Do I really need a girlfriend? Am I better off settling down and just finishing school and just head to NS? Or just meditate and hang out alone, so I'm stress-free?

Too many things. Just too lazy to think about all of them.

Yea, since I feel so shitty today (and of all days, it's Hari Raya Eve), I decided to write to my heart's content (or in this case, sorrow).

Well, it's good to be young and enjoy yourselves, but it's another thing to be a nuisance to public. If anything happens, it may bring a bad reputation to yourself and others. And seriously, if the security guard catches you, prepare to get owned.

Today must be the shittiest day in a long while. I nearly wanted to throw up early in the morning. Then I had to wake up at 5amjust to get my props from Shinji, at his house. I got nearly ignored by... never mind. I was the last to change, and some were already complaining to hurry up. I'm like "JUST GO 1ST LAH WTH."

Then some of the cosplayers were making a nuisance on the 6th floor. I already had enough of it and changed back out of my costume after 1+ hours only. Then I decided to try to cheer myself up by going to the GCA convention hall. I did entertain myself, and talked to other cossers and arcade friends there. Even Kazuo and Jun were there to support me when I had my competition. But it was only short-lived happiness, probably.

Then the gang had dinner. The rest were talking to me about the usual mind-messing stuffs. Then suddenly I opened my Coke Zero bottle, and it spilled o my t-shirt. Even my egg prata had some Coke taste. I was pretty livid by then and wanted to snap already. I decided to change into another t-shirt, then went back home alone. But not before I left a photo with Sean to keep. I wonder what kind of message that's gonna send to everyone else.

I don't really know how I feel too. Maybe I'm stressed out, maybe I don't feel that I can give the best for the person I like. I might already have given up before the show even started.

Last Saturday I broke my fast outside at a Japanese school. And also viewing the festival known as Natsu Matsuri. I ate with a few other Muslim friends like Knife, Alucard, Saku, Kazuo and a few others. We didn't really eat much, mainly had corn and sandwiches. And some rice offered by Kazuo. Damn nice though, haha.

I had met Sephora earlier to go there, then we headed down to the location. Along the way, we attended the Library Sale at Expo. I got myself some cool books for only 2 bucks each, woohoo.

Later that night, we were dancing to the festival music there. It was quite cool, as I was wearing a yukata for the 1st time ever. My obi kept falling though, and I had to keep holding it until somebody fixed it back for me. Geh.

I keep thinking to myself, "I really suck at my love life."

I mean, I'm very good at mingling with friends, but I'm really too afraid to go beyond that sometimes. And it's strange, because I wasn't like this in the past. I used to go after girls quite a lot.

I remember Jeremy pointing out to me that I wasn't the same as last time, which is very true. The thing is, I do have other priorities. My cosplaying hobby is going to reach its peak, and I want to make an impression. Meaning, I want to be famous for doing something that will be remembered for a long time. My Patapon was one of those, but I don't wish to stop there, cos' I want to do one better.

Okay, back to topic. I kanda have problems when talking to someone that I have a crush on. Not obvious to the whole lot of you, but it happens. So I'm still unsure how to go about settling down. I'm okay with not having a girlfriend currently, but...

AH, WHAT THE HECK. I'm thinking too much.
